For this independent piece, I did a very large portrait of John O'Callaghan. I wanted to focus on the details for this one so I worked really hard on the facial features and freckles.

This independent piece is a graphite drawing of Charlie McDermott. I'm really proud of how well I was able to make it look like him. I also really like the nose, jawline, and hair.

These are my still life self portraits. (Personal life on the left and school life on the right). I chose to make my school life one very boring and basic and inside the lines because it seems like that't what you are expected to be in school now. My personal life is much more expressive of who I really am where as my school life is very basic and someone probably couldn't tell who it was based on the drawing.

For the disability project, I chose to not have thumbs. I really wanted to dedicate myself to this project so I taped my thumbs to my palms and did not use them a single time. I like the overall turnout of the product.

This was my blind self portrait. The pen was done blindfolded and the marker was done after. When I had my eyes closed, I accidentally drew something that resembled a marijuana leaf so I went with it.

This is an independent oil piece I did this semester. I wanted to do an oil painting because I don't do them too often so I did. I like snow so this is what I painted.

For this project, I was inspired by Vija Celmins. Her work focused on doind detaled pictures section by section so I attempted to do the same. I only used two colors of paint for the project (purple and white). I liked it because I generally rush my paintings and this really helped me slow down and focus on the details.
